Our First Thanksgiving Family Portrait

While preparing our dishes to share with our friends at the Bridgepoint Marina Thanksgiving Dinner, Shannon and I stopped to take a few pictures.  Taking our first Thanksgiving family portrait aboard Banjo seemed like a good milestone.  We also celebrated our fifth month as “Banjo’s people.”  None of these are anything ultra-fancy, but we liked them and wanted to share them with you.

We brought both dogs up on deck and tried to convince them to sit still.  Yeah, good luck with that.  Sagira usually does fine.  Venus on the other hand, tends to move around a lot, especially when you call her name.  Bless her heart.  She really just wants to please people, but she gets nervous.  Couple the movement of the pups with trying to get decent shots around obstacles, and it was a challenge.  So we were finally able to grab, at least a few, images that we are going to call our Thanksgiving Family Portrait.

It looks like the rest of the weekend will be spent in a food coma.  Although, there may be a few boat projects in store for us.  In the meantime, we hope you enjoy and can find a favorite from these.  Most importantly, from our family to yours, we wish you all a great holiday season.
