Storm Preparation: Bomb Cyclone Grayson It has been an interesting 48-hours.  We learned of a pressure system moving up the coast a few days ago, which seemed as if, to appear out of nowhere.  The name given this system was Bomb Cyclone Grayson, and potentially packed blizzard conditions combined with hurricane force winds.  By all accounts, this could be a very dangerous storm due to the freezing temperatures, and rapid atmospheric pressure drop.  Those pressures, potentially, could rival those of Hurricane Sandy.  There is an interesting article here describing some…

Dazzling Sunset Footage I walked outside to capture this dazzling sunset footage, with the sunset already in progress.  November is already shaping up to be one of my favorite months.  The temperatures have decreased.  The constant summer thunderstorms have subsided.  To the west, the sun appeared larger than normal, and the moon was absolutely HUGE.  The sky continually changed colors  and was majestic.  This video footage is a mix of several scenes captured.  We hope you enjoy a bit of the calm that we experienced watching the scene unfold.  These…

Brilliant Sunset Video: Golden Sunset Another final post for the night.  Here is the first part of some footage of a brilliant sunset video recorded on November 1st, 2017.  Additionally, the scene overlooks the Trent River Bridge in New Bern, NC.  We find ourselves enjoying the sunsets here almost daily.  Most of all, it is easy to spend time reflecting on the day and the beauty around us.
