The Mermaid – Shannon

Born and raised in North Carolina, Shannon left corporate America with dreams of traveling the world.  An avid dog lover, she worked as a pet care provider for over 8 years.  She is one of the sweetest, most caring people you could ever hope to meet.

Raised on powerboats as a child, she adores the water.  Sailing is a relatively new experience, but she is an excellent study and is having a blast aboard.

The Sailor – Shawn

Just another guy with blue water dreams and the desire to sail.  Shawn is a total geek at heart and is interested in, pretty much, everything.

The Princess – Sagira

Rescued almost 12 years ago, Sagira is the calm, stoic member of the family.  She LOVES ducks, geese, and other water fowl, but isn’t a fan of getting wet or swimming.  However, she loves to “ride,” whether it be by boat or car.  Once she gets to know you, she will, most likely, “request” a belly rub.

As far as we can tell, she is possibly some combination of Springer Spaniel and/or Border Collie and/or Flat Coated Retriever mix.

The Singer – Venus

Another rescue, Venus joined our family over 9 years ago.  She is initially shy and bashful, but give her time and she is loving and sweet.  Venus loves to smile, sing and swim, but does have a touch of “FOMO” (fear of missing out) and craves being alongside the rest of the crew.

Best guess is she is a mix of Carolina Dog and/or Chow and/or Cattle Cog and/or German Shepard and/or …
